Quilt of Valor - May
Completed May 6 - Approximately 67 x 84. This quilt was made from a project designed by Judy Laquidara. This was her April 2007 Quilt For An Hour project. You can find a link to her blog on my sidebar. I used some hand painted fabrics that I had purchased at the Houston Quilt Festival several years ago. I bought them for another project but was unhappy with the amount of fading in the fabrics during pre-washing. I also bought packets of 9" square samples from the same vendor. Those were used for the 9-patch blocks. With the top and backing, I used over 10 yards of fabric from the stash.
