This photo shows the quilting best. The sashing and piecing are all stitched in the ditch. The "flower" (black print) is quilted in straight lines. The sashing is done in a pumpkin seed motif and the block background is free motion Victorian feathers. The black print fabric is from a maternity outfit that my Aunt wore in 1957.
