Krista

I posted my blog post on Friday, and didn't sneak any new ones in over the weekend :) The summary is, I started the month with 37 UFOs and finished with 35. I had 5 finishes, but 3 new projects started this month. My full accounting is here http://kristaquilts.blogspot.ca/2016/04/april-ufo-challenge.html

Tina in NJ

I finished Fireflies on Friday, the day before the guild show, which was wonderful! I had a lot of fun showing off my work as the Featured Quilter. BTW, does the new website count as a UFO? Will it be finished by the end of April?

Becky in VA

Black Swan is beautiful - the colors sparkle!

Too much traveling in March and I didn't get much sewing time. I started the month with 13 things in progress, started one new one, and didn't finish any, so I now have 14 things in progress. I'm going the wrong way!

Susan

I claim 2 finishes for March! (Or is it 1 1/2?) Here's the post: http://pgfiber2art.blogspot.com/2016/04/ufo-busting-in-march.html.

I started the year with 28 UFO and two are done.
I have two UFO's in progress. They are large groups of fabric strips for baby quilts and Dad's old clothes for memory quilts. Both of these UFOs are going to take months to finish.
In March I started a new quilt and finished it. It was quilt 12 for the year.
I have one new quilt on-going which is the AC/DC t-shirt quilt. I am still collecting shirts and will be working on this piece until mid-August.

I don't have numbers - they scare me - but I have a pile - this was finished from my UFO pile : http://alyciaquilts.blogspot.com/2016/04/faux-geese-scrappy-is-ready-for-flight.html and up next is ....The Betty Quilt.... wish me luck - can't wait to see your new website

Oh how fun! Thanks for the 'win' this month, Vicki! My email just crashed, but I will be contacting you once I get it figured out.

Started January with - 15 (2 BOM, 2 Quilt-Alongs, 11 UFOs)
Finished in March – 3 quilts! (1 Quilt-Along, 1 UFO, 1 t-shirt quilt)New Starts in March – One Block Wonders, cut and pieced!
Projects in process - 13

My daughter pieced a king size quilt last Fall. I finally got around to quilting and binding it for her! I had counted it as one of my UFOs b/c it was sitting in my sewing room for a while. She is very happy with it and took it to her home Easter weekend. I also delivered the t-shirt quilt I started in February. And the March One Block Wonders, turned into a lap size quilt top! It is not in my ‘to be quilted’ pile.

I don't have YTD totals, but for the month:
March 1: 18
Finished: 2
Started: 0
March 31: 17
There's a reason for my bad math too! http://zanasninis.blogspot.com/2016/04/april-ufo-updates.html

Annie

I have one finish and one move from the WIP to TBQ category (and that one is currently in the hand binding phase, so will be a finish for next month!)

UFO = 4
WIP = 5
NEW = 0
Completed = 1
TBQ (to be quilted) = 10

I'm headed for the Quilt Show in Chicago today, so there may be some fabric shopping occurring....

swooze

Starting UFO 37
Finished YTD 1
Started YTD 8
Ending UFO 36

I promise I am working on the UFOs! LOL

Mary Anne

I wonder if it could be said that I'm UFO busting if I cleared out well over half of my yarn stash. Technically it was fodder for what was sure to become a UFO anyway, so that should count. Right?

Vicki D.

I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only one with so many projects on the go at once.
March 01 UFOs = 13
Finished and Bound = 2
Started in March = 2
March 31 UFOs = 13
Hmmm. I guess that's progress.
