My MIL is convinced that mattresses need to be very firm. Since we will be sleeping in that bed for 9 nights, I convinced her to get a 4 inch memory foam topper. :o)

Yay for finishing! Barring major illness, animal death, or garden drama, I will finish one or two off my list. The list is getting pretty short!

Congrats on tying up these loose ends and getting a finish.

Great job on the pillows! They look nice with the quilt and headboard. I love the headboard, by the way. I like the pillow design - never seen this design before. Pillows are fun. I dyed some cotton velveteen a couple of years ago and need to make some small pillows with it. I don't know why I procrastinate, either!

Kristin

p.s. I like flanges better than ruffles too.

Roxanne

That will make you happy every time you walk in the room. Great finish!

Things are looking good. Flanges are definitely better! But nice curves!

Flange fan here, too. Never have liked ruffles. Genius, to share the design between the two pillows! Works beautifully with that stunning quilt.

Susan

The pillows really add the finishing touch. Looks great! FYI I tried the gallery link but it wouldn't open on my iPhone.

Mary Anne

The pillows are the perfect finishing touch. Thank you for reminding me about flanges - I've been thinking about what I might do to complete the summer pillow I'm working on and that just might be the answer.

I love the pillows. They go great with the bed. I just think it is a shame that the bottom of the headboard (the blue part) is now hidden.

Such an inviting guest room.....the pillow covers brought it all together. Way to go! Just love getting things checked of the to-do-list.
