I spent my weekend in Newport News at the Birds of Feather conference. I took the Innova maintenance class, which I needed, and met lots of other quilters and people that I knew from the blog and Facebook. It was a fun time and I have a photo of a special quilt to share later this week. I stayed with my brother and SIL and made my SIL take me to the local thrift and dollar stores to look for materials for my wall. I hit the mother lode at the Disabled American Vets and Dollar Tree stores in Denbigh.
Since it’s doing this here
I decided to work with these plates first. These little snowman dessert plates were only 45 cents each.
Last night I used them on this section behind that annoying radon pipe. It’s not a masterpiece section but it’s good enough for where it’s located.
Today I’m snow dyeing while I have some snow inventory. I might even remember t follow my own instructions.
