I apologize for not posting this yesterday. Honestly, I completely forgot!
Before I announce the winner of the grand prize package I want to thank everyone who participated in the HSTeria Quilt Along. It was great motivation for me to complete 3 quilt tops and I'm getting ready to start another using these fabrics.
These fabrics are another set that Anne and I dyed when we first started dyeing fabric. I just have to decide what color I want to pair with them and then I'll probably start cutting. It would be a great leader/ender project.
Here are the 3 quilt tops that I finished since April.
This one was already in process when HSTeria started. In fact it was the quilt that gave me the idea for HSTeria when I started to think about layouts for the quilt.
This one is the "Pretty Quilt" that was made with another set of early hand dyed fabrics. I talked about both sets in this post. I still have to decide if I'm going to put a border on it and will do that before I start a new project.
Well, that's my intention anyway.
The grand finale for me in this project is the "Ugly Quilt" which I don't think is ugly at all. Whenever I get around to finishing it I will give it a better name but I'll keep "ugly" in it somewhere.
I wanted to wrap up the Quilt Along by sharing 5 of my favorite layouts from all the ones that I posted these past few months. I like working on these so much that we may just have to have HSTeria II next year.
This one is from one of the 9-patch blocks.
I still love the lounge chair blocks!
This was my second favorite layout for the ugly quilt.
I love the vertical orientation of this one.
My new HST project just might have to be this envelope quilt.
I'm not sure how grand a box of fabrics scraps (and Mistyfuse!) will be but the winner of the "grand" prize is #8 Elaine!
