These quilts are the end of my current batch (of 13) quilts that the Country School Quilters will deliver to veterans at the Ashland Convalescent Center.
Betsy made this one from a couple of sets of orphan blocks.
I quilted this one with giant raindrops. I found the inspiration on Pinterest but the source post is here. My version is much bigger than hers but that's perfectly fine!
This one is from Carol and is one of two that she did in these fabrics.
This one is quilted with "dwirling" from the pajama quilter.
Another block drive quilt. This block is a variation of the disappearing 9-patch.
The challenge with this one is that those white triangles at the end of the star points are actually 3 layers of fabric so that means that the intersections are 6 or more layers! I stippled this one so I could avoid the seam intersections.
This one is from Karen. It's a simple pattern bust has a huge graphic impact.
It screamed for wavy cross-hatching!
That's all for now. Next I'll be quilting some of my own. But stay tuned tomorrow for a big announcement of a new project!
