This one isn't going to appeal to a lot of people but it was fun to make. I had a lot of scrap bits and decided to put them all together and see what would happen. Through this I've learned that opaque glass fuses differently than transparent glass and it's a good thing to know.
I started with a sheet of clear glass and then arranged the stenciled snowflake pieces along with a lot of scrap strips and bits all around the plate. I tried to have enough stuff on the sheet so that it would fuse into a relatively flat piece and that mostly worked out.
Next I slumped it but wasn't totally happy with the result. I felt it needed more white. I had just made some white glass dots and arranged them all over the glass and fused and slumped it.
See how the dots stick up on the surface? I really like that. I don't think anyone is ever going to want this one but it was a lot of fun to make!
