Like with our quilting, some projects can be successful even though they don't turn out like we planned. With my glass that's almost the norm as I learn about all of the different kinds of glass. This plate is one of those.
This plate is 5" x 10". There are 2 layers of glass with stringers, frit and powder on top. It's not what I thought I'd get but I do like it a lot.
Usually I fuse a layer of clear over a color glass. In this case I put dark royal blue on the bottom and a striker white on top.
The best part about this project is that I've finally figured out the right slumping schedule for this particular mold. This one has been the most difficult mold to get right.
