We are having the most perfect October weather now! Chris is happy but I'm not quite ready. However, it did work in my favor this weekend. We went to the river and after hearing the weather report I decided to take my quilt with me to work on. Saturday was a nice day. It wasn't hot but it was pleasant outside. Sunday brought us all rain.
This is my sewing space at the river. I love having my Janome Jem Gold for travel. I have a complete notions kit so it takes me no time to pack and go. I got to spend a lot of time here Saturday evening and Sunday.
I made some good progress on getting the sashing sewn in to make my rows and I've started putting the rows together. I also have a block that needs to be reoriented. The only downside of the river is that I don't have a design wall.
Who am I kidding? I would have made the same error at home!
I am back home now and my plans for the week are to finish putting this top together, finish quilting the stack-n-whack quilt that's on Willie and I have a ton of dyeing (and ironing) to do this week.
