It's a day late but I do have some Traditions projects for this week. I've also decided to share EQ files with the palette fabrics going forward. If you think you might want to design a quilt for yourself using the Traditions palette you can download the EQ file here. There's one quilt in the file that shows how I use the gradients in the borders. The gradients are stored as images instead of fabric. I hope you have fun with them!
I really enjoyed the shadow block from last week and decided to see if I could do one for myself. I'm her to tell you that doing this really worked some stagnant parts of my brain but I eventually decoded it. This time I used Blockbase block #3750, Two Colors.
Here are the versions that I worked up. I like this one a lot and I think that I want to use this technique for the quilt that I will make. Not sure if it will be this block or another one.
I think this last one is my favorite version. I know it looks like the previous one but in this one I changed the value of the corner blocks to make the stars one shade lighter.
