Mom and I are off today heading for Lancaster, PA and the AQS show there. It's been a while since I've taken a road trip and we are both looking forward to this one. I'll try to post some highlights from the show but in the mean time please go see what Kelly did with a box of scraps I sent her.
When I posted about the scraps from my Dancing Stars quilt Kelly commented that if she had them she would make a quilt for a local charity. Kelly is from an area near where I grew up so I felt that she deserved them. I had no idea what a super cool quilt she would make and in just a few weeks!
Have a good time on the trip and at the show. Kelly did a wonderful job with your vibrant scraps.

Have fun -- you'll enjoy the show, but beware of AQS's photography policy. They require PERMISSION from both the quiltmaker AND AQS before you post photos, not just attribution. Bah humbug on them...another reason why I don't feel bad about going.

Have a fun, safe trip! If you ever have another pile of scraps you don't know what to do with...I would be happy to take them off your hands!!!!!!

I wish I could go, but you will have to get lots of photos so I can see all of the wonderful quilts and things.
