Surprise!
We weren't supposed to get any snow last night but we woke to a pretty dusting this morning. It's not the first time that the daffodils have had to contend with snow.
It's not even the latest snow we've ever had. Two years ago we had snow on March 27. I'd be happy for that record to stand!
There's nothing on my design wall today because the mess is all over my cutting table. I am still having some fun with the crumb blocks and trying to turn them into placemats. Hopefully I will have something to share next week.
Truthfully there's not a ton of sewing going on because I am diligently working on the wall paper removal. The master bath is almost done. I'm dropping off our tax info today and will go by the paint store to pick up some paint samples. Chris is ready to paint and I don't want to hold up his interest in this project!
While I am scraping walls, check out what everyone else is doing over at Patchwork Times.

I think this year is one of the first in the last 5 years or so that we have not had our daffodils covered in snow. Spring is coming - the snow will be melted before the day is out = well it would be here, I don't know how cold you are today :)

Daffodils in the snow -- it's happened to us in years past. We're soaking in the rain. Love the colors of your blocks. Beachy -like ... I feel warmer now.
