Sooooooo, remember Monday when I told you that Chris had food poisoning over the weekend? It wasn't food poisoning, it was a very bad stomach virus and, because he loves me, he shared. I got Monday and Tuesday's blog posts done around noon Monday and that's the last thing I've done all week. The laundry is half done and the house is a disaster and I do not care.
Mine, thankfully, did not present as spectacularly as his because I am, for some reason, incapable of regurgitating. At least dehydration wasn't an issue for me but I feel like I've been through the wringer. I did make it out for an appointment today and then came home for a hour nap. I really, really need to get into the dye studio to fill several custom orders but I'm just not up to that yet. Oh well, life would be dull if everything went to plan.
I did lose 5 more pounds. So I will at least have fun eating for the next few weeks!
Now, on to happer news!
The winner of the 3 sun-printed fat quarters from last week's drawing is
Emma!
Emma, I think I have your address but please send it to me again just to make sure and I'll get your fabrics in the mail.
This week's item comes from my friend, Becky. Becky received this apron as a gift. It was white and I dyed it for her in December. She brought it to me last week and asked me to give it away here because it doesn't fit her well. She's shout like me and full length aprons just don't fit us right. But it might be just perfect for one of you. If you happen to me a Virginia Tech fan this apron would be awesome!
If you would like to win this fun apron jsut leave a comment on this post. I'll draw a winner next Thursday.

I would love that apron! I teach Kindergarten and it would be perfect!!!

Oh dear...I've missed a few posts. I hope all is well lickety split! Terrific apron but I'm short too so I'll leave it to a taller reader.

Isn't it nice to be loved? I hope you are both in tip-top shape soon. Sorry, I'm a Scarlet Knights fan (Rutgers). I'm also short. However, the apron looks awesome.

Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. I hope it's not much longer.
The apron is lovely and would be so much fun to wear when baking.

I am an ORANGE fan and a redhead so I would look oh so good in that apron.

Sorry you got that virus. I had it a few years ago and it's really nasty. My son-in-law and grandson are Virginia Tech alumni, so that apron would be awesome for those Hokies!

I'm a shortie, too, so this likely wouldn't fit, but I still wanted to comment that I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. The flu seems to be particularly nasty this year.

So sorry you have been ill. Hope you feel 100% very soon.

Oh dear - food poisoning would have been better as it isn't contagious. Hope you feel back to normal soon.

I'm short too but I bet I could make it work! Very nice!

Hi Vicki, I am a Hokie fan having lived in Blacksburg almost all of my life. I wear this type of apron and am tall enough to enjoy it at potlucks and when we entertain.
