Congratulations to Marti (sandmbulk) on winning the one year membership to The Quilt Show in last week's drawing!
This week I am so thankful to all of you who chipped in to help my friend, Pamela. She is half way to her goal! If you missed the story and want to read about Pamela you can go here. To see a video of Pamela (or donate) you can go here.
The giveaway this week is for this apron. You may remember it from this post. I made several aprons and tote bags for Christmas gifts and a couple didn't get given. One is the dyed and painted apron. The flowers are screen printed with thermofax screens from Margaret Applin. I love her screen designs and she now also has a line of stencils at Stencil Girl.
To enter to win this apron just leave a comment below and tell me if you use an apron in the kitchen or on your art studio.
The winner will be announced next Thursday.

What a cute apron! I don't use them in the kitchen since Don does the cooking, but I do use them in the studio...reminds me that I need to make some more!

I love to wear an apron when I'm in the kitchen... But none of them fit over my baby belly right now. I'm looking forward to wearing them again soon!

I love that apron. I use an apron only in my studio to keep batting from sticking to my clothes. Yours is much prettier than the one I use now. :-)

oh, how inspired I would be to spend more time in the kitchen if I was wearing a Vicki Welsh original. My husband would be ever so grateful ;-)

Aprons? Always for the kitchen (especially if I owned such a cute one). Studio stuff gets done in an old shirt.
Thanks for the chance to win something so nice!

Yes, when I know it's going to be messy. Always with baking and flour.
Lovely apron. I need to make one for my daughter. I was shocked to see her wearing, but then she was cooking!

OMG, I'm swooning over this apron. Actually I use an apron in BOTH the kitchen and in my little atelier. Since we do dishes by hand at my house, my T-shirts and blouses get very thread bare in the belly department so I started using an apron when doing dishes to protect my clothes. Your apron is unbelievably beautiful!

No, I don't use an apron in the kitchen, but I should! I end up wearing an entire meal on my shirt and pants by the time I'm done cooking. ;)
Thank you for the giveaway, I can assure you that the apron would be put to very good use in my house!

You would laugh yourself silly if you saw my apron! My very nice apron wore out so I took a old t-shirt, cut it up the back, cut some thin strips of fabric off the sides, sewed them to the top for tying it. It may look funny but it works!

I don't wear an apron in my kitchen, but will wear one at a church potluck dinner. Thanks for the chance to win your lovely apron!

I alway us an apron in the kitchen as I am a really sloppy cook! When I am creating...not so much!

I love your apron. I use on in the kitchen especially when I'm baking. Without the apron, I find that I've got flour on my clothes. Can't understand how that happens. I do hand mix all my cakes!

I do use an apron in the kitchen and I try to remember to use one in the studio. I love this flowered apron and would be so grateful if I won.
Love reading your blog!

I used to wear an apron but at some point I no longer put one on. Maybe it became one more thing to wash and iron. I love the color and prints on that apron.
I have learned so much from your blog, thanks for taking the time to put all of your wonderful info together.

I love this - what a great color!! :-) I wear an apron in the kitchen 90% of the time, in the garden some of the time (especially when I'm picking) and rarely when I'm sewing or doing other creative work.

I don't use an apron, if I did I would have to wear it on my butt, that's where I wipe my hands!
Your's is fantastic! I would hang yours on my antique cabinet in the kitchen for everyone to see!
