The winner of last week's Thankful Thursday prize, a bag of hand dyed string scraps, is Gail in Idaho!
Since Valentine's Day (and our 25th wedding anniversary! eek!) is around the corner I decided that the prize for this week will be this set of heart coasters. I made them a year or so ago with some leftovers from a set of placemats. I use the placemats every February but not the coasters. Maybe you would like to have them at your house this Valentine's Day. If so just leave a comment.
FYI, I do not feel old enough to have been married 25 years....especially considering that we dated for 6 years before we were married. We needed to make triple-double sure before we made a commitment.

Lovely coasters. Any hope of a tutorial or pattern? I'm not sure I could use them if I won; wouldn't want to get them messy!;)

What beautiful coasters! They are sure to add a festive flair to any table on Valentine's day.
Obviously your and Chris' caution paid off since you'll be happily celebrating your 25th wedded year next month. Congratulations!

25 years, that's amazing. You look too young to have been married that long!!!!

I know what you mean about not wanting to rush into anything. I dated my husband for 9 years before we got married, then we waited another 5 before we had kids. We dated longer than a lot of people stay married. ;-)

I would love to have the heart coasters, hearts are my "doodle" shape. I don't feel old enough to be married 43 years either. lol Have a great weekend.

I, having met both of the parties involved, think your are triple-double blessed with the choice you made. Perfect match! :O) Just wanted to say that! If you pick me you can pay the gift forward for me! :O)
