Are you participating in the Dancing Stars Quilt-Along hosted by Amy ant Amy's Creative Side? The project is still in the planning phase as everyone is buys pulling fabrics and selecting color palettes. Of course, a few people are well underway with their blocks!
I have finally decided on my quilt and it will look something like this.
I think this will look really nice.
I am using the Sea and Sky gradient for the background and 3 Stash Packs for the stars (with some solid white).
Instead of dyeing regular yardage I am dyeing a big quilt back with the gradient. That will give me extra for binding and very wide top and bottom borders for those quarter square triangles in the borders.
If you like this idea I have developed a kit (with the wide back for the gradient and 3 Stash Packs of your choice) for the 60 x 68 throw size. This is based on Amy's yardage requirments. I think you would have plenty of extra fabric. You would provide the white fabric. The cost of the kit will be $110 and I can create it in any gradient pattern you like. You can purchase the kit here.
I am a sponsor of this project so if you participate you will have a chance to win some free hand dyed fabric. Just follow along on Amy's blog.

That's a really cute pattern and I think it will be gorgeous in your colorway shown here.

Love your color choices! Yes, I am going to try to dye me up some fabrics and join the fun. I haven't decided my color way yet but I am planning on getting some dyeing done next week just for this project.

the gradient is so much more livelier than the plain gray, great choice.
