I hope all of your holiday plans are coming together well for you. Our holiday is pretty low key, just as we like it. This year it's a good thing because I am busy dyeing kits for the Back to Square One mystery quilt. I have never dyed 130 yards of fabric in one week and I've never had so much fun "working"!
This will be my last post until next Saturday. I'm taking the week off and will be back Saturday with my Grandmother's Choice block. I hope you have a great holiday with your family and friends.
In honor of the season I decided to do today's palette quilts using only the red and green from my palette.
The block is Bird's Nest from EQ and I've done 5 versions. I like them all and think I may need to make a quilt with this block at some point. I think my favorite is the 3rd one. Which is your favorite?

Merry Christmas to you too - our holiday is low key also, visitors are late this year not here until Thursday.

That is a beautiful palette and design for a Christmas quilt.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday and many blessings in the coming year.

I like this block and how it looks in these quilt layouts. I think both 3 and 4 are my favorites. Merry Christmas Vicki!

I like, in the second quilt, the way the green pops against the red in the sashing. Have lovely time off.
