I didn't have a lot of time to play with the fabric palette this week but I have a few iterations of a new block. These are all done with the Warkton Lane fabric palette and you can get the ordering information here.
The block this week is from Blockbase. It's block number 1983a and is called Black Beauty.
I started with two designs using the gradient in the border.
Then I wanted to play with adding some pieced borders.
The checkerboard is nice but a little "eh".
I like this much better and stuck with it to play with the palette colors.
Finally, I wanted to add a little more action in the center of the quilt and replaced all of the center blocks with the Arrowhead block (#1985).
I like this a lot in both colorways.
Now I must get back to doing some real quilting! I hope you are having a good quilty day too.
I couldn't find anything I liked more than the first one!
