Yesterday we had a special adventure. My friend bought some Redskins tickets at a charity auction. Knowing that I was an Eagles fan she invited us along to see the game live from one of the suites. 3 of the 4 people in the car thought it was a perfect day. It was almost perfect for me and was only marred by the poor performance of the Eagles and the late game injury of our best player. Regardless, tailgating was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed watching the game live. I even did a little applique in the car on the ride up.
Today I am back to normal programming.
In the past week I have been focused primarily on finishing the button tree postcards and quilting Kim's quilt. I made great progress on the quilt and should finish the quilting tomorrow. Then I can quilt 3 veteran's quilts quickly.
I also need to start the next set of postcards. I'll be doing something with these monoprints that I made earlier this summer.
This project looks exactly the same as last week. I have hope that I will work on it during the upcoming weekend.
We spend Thanksgiving at the river with Anne and her family, as we usually do. We always enjoy it. I hope you also enjoy the holiday (if you celebrate it).
Check out what everyone else is doing over at Patchwork Times.

My sister is the biggest die hard Redskins fan ever!!! She could have LOVED that.
