Not a lot ot report today. Yesterday Mom and I went to Williamsburg and then to Newport News to visit my niece and SIL, oh yeah, and my brother. Today we went to the VMFA to see the Chihuly exhibit. It is awesome!!
On the quilting front I haven't accomplished much because I was working on the newsletter but Mom got all of her stars done.
I think the quilt is going to look great. She has a dark red fabric for the sashing. I convinced her to let me soak it and I'm glad I did. The water was very dark pink and that would have ruined this quilt. She's working on cutting 676 3 1/2" tumbler blocks now. Tonight I hope to do some more cross-hatching while watching the Eagles lose again. :(
That's all I have for today so go check out what everyone else is up to at Patchwork Times.
