It's Sunday so it's time for a few more Electric Quilt projects in the featured fabric palette. The Woodlands palette is the perfect palette for a quilt for the men in your life. If you are interested in the fabrics you can find ordering information here.
This week I decided to work with a Pineapple block. This one is Pineapple 2 from Blockbase.
I started bu alternating it with the Double Star block that I used last week.
The sashing with the Double Star makes a nice frame. Next I did a couple of versions with just the pineapple blocks. I like log cabin and pineapple quilts without borders so that's how I designed these.
Then I decided to try a different alternate block and I selected 297.5 from Blockbase.
I really like this as an alternate block.
Then I switched the blocks and created a modified block for the border blocks.
Hmmm, I might have to make this one!

WHOA! After the first one, they seem to **move** at a rather rapid pace, Vicki! Is it just my eyes? Love the colors though.

2975 blue and green just keeps popping. How could you keep your eyes still to colour it?

A pineapple quilt is on my bucket list--has been since the early 90s so must not be very high on the list! These are super examples!!
P.S. just stopped by BB's blog and this week's block should be a slamdunk for you.
