This was a great block for both palettes. I think it worked great for the symmetry block and also for the shibori fabrics. In both I opted for movement behind the star elements.
Here's the layout and templates that I used.
There are only 4 fabrics and that one on the right did most of the heavy lifting.

Vicki, I absolutely ADORE what you're doing with these blocks. The Shibori ones are interesting, but the symmetry blocks are just amazing. Every week, I can't wait to see what you do next week.

I love the Shiboi block...there is so much movement. It looks like the star is hanging over a swirling whirlpool. There is so much depth to it too.

My vote this week is the symmetrical block. Go ahead and whip up a whole quilt like that block!
