One reason that I create tutorial is so that I have the instructions when I want to make the item again 3 years later. I enjoy sharing them and am usually surprised that anyone else every uses them. Aside from seeing projects made with my fabrics, I love seeing projects that you make with my tutorials best. Vickie V has ben enjoying making visors....lots of them!
Aren't they awesome?
If you have made anything from one of my tutorials I'd love to see your project! Just Email meor send me a link to your photos.
Now onto another topic related to the tutorials. You know that I was one of the designers for Quilting Gallery's Glorious Autumn Block Party. Michele works so hard at Quilting Gallery to bring us lots of inspiration, activities and a great place to meet. It's disheartening when someone takes advantage of her (and our) efforts. A blogger in another country reposted all of our block photos and placed our tutorials on her site for her readers with no attribution or links. That's a flagrant violation of copyright. We all contacted her and she did remove everything from her blog.
I love for you to use my tutorials for your own use and I'm thrilled if you want to talk about them on your blog with links back to my tutorial post. If you want to distribute the tutorial for any use please Email me and I'll be happy to discuss options with you.

How fun for you to see your tutorials being put to good use. On the other hand...the electronic world has opened up a whole new world of good and not so good things. I'm sure this happens much more than we realize.
