My friend Becky came by this week and told me that she was surprised that I was not doing these blocks in hand dyed fabrics. I ignored her at first but them started thinking about a pile of shibori fabrics that I've been hoarding and now I'm doing 2 sets of these blocks. I can tell you that the hand dyed version goes a LOT faster! Here are the first 3 blocks.
I have no idea what I will do with them at the end and I'll jsut wait and worry about it then!

I really like these too. I think they prove you can take traditional blocks and make them look contemporary.
