It's time to start another series of EQ projects with the new fabric palette. Un until this palette, it has been very exciting to work with the new colors. Unfortunately I fell in love with this palette before I discovered that it's incredibly hard to photograph. So let me describe the purple and green for you. No matter what your screen says, the purple is a deep rich aubergine color and the green is a dark jade so it is a bluish-green.
I am madly in love with this palette. I honestly do not expect it to appeal to a lot of people and I am OK with that. These are "my" colors and I'm really going to enjoy playing with them. Of course if they do happen to appeal to you you can find all of the ordering information here.
I decided to start off just playing with some of the color combinations. I chose a pattern from Judy Laquidara's book, Nine Patch Extravaganza. It's a book that was published a few years ago but it still remains one of my favorite pattern books. The pattern is called Keep in Touch.
Here are the 2 blocks that are used in the quilt and I've worked it up in 5 different colorways so you can start to see how these palette colors work together.

Vicki,
Like the first and last ones .... and I like the colour combination too.
