I'm back from another great weekend at the river. I admit that we didn't do a great deal of sewing but I got a couple of projects finished. We did watch a lot of the olympics (I am sick of water polo and volleyball), took a boat ride and set up a slack link. I'm not much into sports but slacklining is right up my alley. I like strength and balance exercises. I've identified the perfect place to set one up on our property. It will probably take my 6 months to be able to stand on it but I'm going to get it a good try!
Here's what I finished Friday night. Kim's quilt top is finally together and I like it a lot. This one will get lots of feathers when it's quilted. First, though, I need to make a back. I hope to get this one done and delivered by Christmas.
When I last showed this I thought it was too long. I wasn't that lucky. It was actually too narrow and became my other project for the weekend. I added 3 tumbler blocks to each row and I can assure you that it was a total PITA. But now it's ready to start planning the applique.
I'm a little out of order today because I don't yet have my lsit for the week. My first taks today will be to make my to do list so that I do not wind up wasting the entire week. Check out what everyone else is doing at Judy's blog.
