The Olympic games were mostly fun to watch but now they are over and I'm glad. I stayed up way too late watching TV every night which means that I got up too late every morning. Now I can get back to my normal routine.
At least I did get a lot of quilting done this weekend.
Chris and I share our Google calendars so we can see what the other is up to. Chris actually looks at the calendar every day so I can usually get a reminder from him of something I have upcoming. Unfortunately he did not remind me about Sewing Saturday (with my Guild) until Saturday afternoon so I missed it this month. The good news is that I was quilting so the day was not lost.
I finished the quilting on the spiral quilt! I am very happy to have this off the frame. As soon as the binding is done I will share lots of photos.
After a project like that I need something fast to quilt so I'm working on this one next. It's getting the Square Spiral panto and it's already half done. This is a small quilt (48 x 60) for the Veteran's hospital. Next will be the matching QOV made from the same blocks. It will also get the Square Spiral panto. I might even have both of these quilted by next Monday.
I have loads to do this week so I better get to it. What do you have going on this week? You can get some inspiration by checking out the other design walls at Judy's blog.

That is exactly what I need to do with the 100 scrap crazy quilts I made earlier this summer.

I admire your generosity with your donation quilts. Something I definitely want to get back to doing. Looking forward to lots and lots of photos.

I can already see why the spiral quilt took some time -- looks very intricate. The others will surely go faster though. Enjoy!

Congrats on finishing the spiraly quilting - hope to see it soon, like tomorrow evening?
We missed you at Saturday Sewing, where several of us were sewing on quilts for our veterans.

Great to have a quilt off the quilt frame and on to binding. Missed out on Saturday stitching with friends, to bad.

Can't wait to see pictures of the finished sprial quilt! You know me - there is always something on my plate! I want to get the red Olivia quilt done and get the borders on the drum theme quilt. I don't have any where I have to be so my time is mine to use as I see fit. I went to the grocery store at lunch today so that won't interrupt my weekend sewing. Now I just have to stay motivated and get 'er done!
