Last week was not a normal week so I didn't work on normal things. Mom was here for some surgery. She had surgery Wednesday morning, got out of the hospital Thursday afternoon and was sewing on Friday! She has a drain that she has been minding but she hasn't taken anything for pain. Not even an aspirin in the hospital. Amazing.
I don't often get to work on my travel project but I got 2 flowers done this week while I was with Mom. Two others have been done over the past couple of months.
I have 11 done so far and 44 more to go. I don't care how long this project takes. I love these blocks and am really enjoying working on them.
Because Mom was here and we had family visiting yesterday I did not get another Patriot sample block made. I think one of my goals this week will be to make a 6th block and put these together into a Veteran's quilt. This is the last week of the Patriot Fabric Palette availability so if you want some now is the time to get it!
My other goal this week is to get these blocks sewn together. I'm going to the river this weekend and would like to take this to get the borders made.
I'll also get back to quilting the spiral quilt that's on Willie. It will be a busy week for sure but I have the Olympics to keep me focused.
I'm linking over to Judy's Design Wall Monday post so go see what everyone else is working on.

Yes I love the flower blocks too. You have lots on the go this week.

So glad your mom is doing well.
The flower blocks a pretty. I know what you mean about not worrying about finishing something. I have projects that only work on when riding on a trip.

Lots of great eye candy Vicki. The dahlia blocks are fab. Of course, the next three pictures are also wonderful. Let's here for getting some sewing done! Yea.
