Oh this is going to be fun! I love red, white and blue and it's going to be fun to play with these fabrics for the next 2 months.
We are working with the Patriot Fabric Palette which is the featured fabric palette through August 4. These fabrics (specifically the colors in any way you want them) are on sale for $15/yard. You can get all of the ordering information here.
You will see lots of star blocls over the next 2 months and I'm starting with a block called Garden Patch variation.
First I want to show you 3 versions fo the same quilt using a different feature fabric for the borders in each.
This one uses the Patriot gradient.
This one is designed using the Bunting stripe.
This one uses the Fireworks print.
These last 2 versions just have alternating blocks rotated and some color changes.
Red, white and blue is so crisp, and your quilt design variations really play well with this palette. I am going to have to plan a quilt using some of the interesting options you show for quilt borders. Wish I wasn't immersed in so many different projects right now!
