Here's the May block for the Blogger's Block of the Month. I did once simple change in the corner blocks and got two completely different blocks. I like them both! This block design comes courtesy of Cathy at Cabbage Quilts.
Here are all of the blocks together so far. I think I'm really going to like this quilt a lot!
Here's the final layout that I'm going with.
I've gotten the inside sahsing and the print pieces of the border cut. Next month I'll cut the rest of the white. I'll be ready to start doing some sewing in July. This one is going to go on one of the guest house twin beds. I think it will make a very welcoming bed.
Check out Jackie's blog and the links on the sidebar for the previous months blocks and be sure to visit all of the other block designers.
September - Sherri McConnell - A Quilting Life

I do like sampler style quilts, and I really love your colours here. Quilts with white in look so airy and pretty but I've not yet had the courage to use white in one myself- guess I'm too used to muddy dogs and grubby girls!!!
This is going to be a real treat!

I love the lay out and what a fun quilt for a guest bed.

Vicki, this quilt is speaking to me. It's whispering sweet nothings into my ear. Both of them, actually.
