This new one-hour-a-day thing is working great! This giant crumb quilt would be overwhelming to face otherwise. I am quilting freemotion feathers all over it and I change the feather design every 18" or so. I get through 2.5 bobbins in one session. I know, it will look a little crazy but this will be a bed quilt and I'm using it as practice.
This is the mess you get when you quilt while talking on the phone. It's a practice quilt so I left it in. On a "good" quilt I would have left this in as it is.
I'm about 2/3 done with this quilt and should finish it this week. I got the next quilt loaded on the zippers and ready to go.
Doing the hour on the longarm makes me even more productive in my sewing room where I've made good progress on several projects that I am too lazy to photograph.
Yesterday I pulled down this quilt top from several years ago. I am going to put one wide border on it to make it a good size for a QOV and then put it in the queue to quilt.
With the quilts I have quilted and the snail's trail ready for it's border I have actually cleared a bit of shelf space! Look at that!
I already have something going in that space....something that needs to get off another surface. I love making progress.
While I continue patting my own back, go check out what everyone else is doing at Patchwork Times.

Sew glad the one hour thing works for you. I must be more diligent with my ha, ha! free hours.

I'd quilt my shirt into the quilt top if I tried to multi-task! I love your Oldie but Goodies you pulled out. Snail's trail is such a fun block.
