Your nest box is exciting. Our birds are cleaning out the houses. The red wing blackbird's shoulder patch is bright red and the goldfinch are starting to brighten to their lemon yellow hue. Color isn't just happening in the flower beds! ;)

It is wonderful that you can do nesting boxes. I do have plenty of back yard that I could set them up in, but the birds seem to have plenty of space in the trees and a few love to nest under my porch;)



Although our greenery is still a little ways off from filling in we have Dove attempting to nest in the arbor -- out in the open. And they build the poorest quality nests in the most precarious places.
