Are you working on the Color Palette Challenge? Here's the palette for February.
I finally got my project done.
It's supposed to be a Kindle case for my cousin. Unfortuantely my measurements were off and that's one reason I will not show you the inside! I will have to do this one again....hopefully this weekend. It's too bad too because I really like the way this looks. I used the dark purple for the piping and the lining. The feature panel was a sun print that I did this summer. I will make another, probably in the same colors.
Today I'm off to the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival with my Mom and friend, Estelle. I entered my One a Whim and Star Struck quilts because I wanted to get some feedback to learn what I can do to improve my quilts. I was shocked yesterday to learn that Star Struck won and Honorable Mention ribbon!

The cover is beautiful. I hope you find something that will fit in it, mini legal pad or something. I had to make 2 to get one to fit for my neice too.
Congratulations on the honorable mention!!!

I am not surprised on the Honorable Mention - I thought your quilt was fabulous and that was just looking at it on a computer screen - I can only imagine how great it looked in person! :)
The cover you are showing above is very pretty and elegant yet quite organic looking. Very nice.

Hope the show was all you hoped it would be. I love this color palette. I have this daydream of using a magenta and lime in a quilt. :)

Congratulations on the Honorable Mention, Vicki! I did a search and found it on your blog back in September. Funny how it matches this month's color palette!

I was so happy to see your quilts at the Mid-Atlantic...especially with a ribbon one one! Love the color palette project...would make a great journal cover if not a Kindle cover.

Love the sun print, such a shame that it doesn't fit the kindle, but hopefully you can make it into a journal cover or similar. Congrats on the Honorable mention, what a thrill!
