Google Friend Connect is disconnecting

I saw on Dale Anne Potter's blog that Google Friend Connect is going away as of March 1. If you are one of the 267 people who follow me through Google Friend Connect please switch over to a news feed service to continue following my blog. I've been using Google Reader for a long time and really love the features.

I'll disable the Google Friend Connect code in February.

that is SO wrong on a variety of levels! I love seeing "Friends" and saying a quick prayer for those I net-know.

Yes, if this is so - blogger is Join thru Friends - how does that affect and what do we do to change that - love how they leave us out in the cold. I have noticed I cannot read some of my blogs, but I can't even get in to change how I follow them. Some info on this would be appreciated from somewhere out there.

I wonder why they are discontinuing it when it automatically puts that person in Google Reader.
