Over the past couple of months I have been trying to spend less time on the computer and more time creating. The process I settled on is to spend all day Monday doing computer work (blog posts, shop maintenance, etc.) Tuesday is primarily for stuff that needs to be done around the house or spill over tasks from Monday. Wednesday - Friday are for fabric dyeing, processing and posting. I am trying to leave my weekends free for creating and an hour or two each day during the week. I haven't been perfect but I am getting a little more balance.
I am doing a little less computer work while watching TV and isntead doing one of my many hand work projects. Because of that I got another of my applique flower blocks done. I now have 9 of 12 completed. I will start #10 tonight during the LSU/Alabama game.
I also made some great progress this week on my Coming Home rail fence quilt. I love how this one is coming together.
I even managed a few hours to play with Willie this week. I loaded this quilt without any quilting plan and just have been making it up as I go. So far I am having a blast.
All in all it was a great week and I hope I can keep it going this week! Check out what everyone else is working on at Judy's blog.

Looking good...playtime is FUN!

I love the circles in the background of the last one. I think they look like pebbles. Don't know if you are interested, but Joyce had a couple of thread displays free to a good home. Both ate Mettler (sp) and one is for the large spools and the other for the smaller. They are at the shop.

I particularly like your rail fence quilt. It reminds me of woven ribbons.
