Two weeks ago I talked about my fabric selection process for this month's color palette challenge. You can read all about the challenge on Judy's blog.
Here's the palette. In the tiles photo the green is an accent color. In my version I brightened the green and made it a much stronger element.
The print fabrics are commercial fabrics. I added the blues from my hand dyed stash and then dyed the green to match the green in the print.
I even dyed some napkins from my huge stash of vintage napkins that Cindy gives me. I like these enought that I will make them again...and I'll create a tutorial for them too.

I enjoyed this first project. Not a color choice I would normally work with and I tried a new technique - but it is done and waiting for Judy's link up.

Right down to the wire on the 31st, but I finished my January Color Palette Challenge project. I was able to use up fabrics from my stash that I never would have thought to put together, and they look great! I was able to use all the colors except the dark brown/plum, but there's a touch of it in the fabric I bought for the backing. Wish I could send a photo, but I don't have a blog. Can't wait to see the next Challenge colors.
