At some point on Friday I realized that I had not sewn one seam all week. This wasn't the first time that's happened. In fact, it's happening more and more and it's all because I am spending way too much time on the computer or on the internet. So I shut down the computer and got back to doing what I love. That's why I was able to get the table runner pieced yesterday and another project totally finished (to be shared tomorrow).
I am going to do my best going forward to avoid the internet on the weekends. I will check email but only respond to important things and everything else can wait until Monday. Maybe it will help me to cut out much of the frivolous stuff that I do on the web.
I wish I could say that I sewed all weekend but that's not true. I also watched some REALLY BAD football (Va Tech, Philadelphia Eagles). It looks like it's going to be a long season for me but it's better than no season at all!
Between games I got out the tumbler quilt and started assembling the rows. I have it set up now so I can work on it for a few minutes each day.
I've got the rows stacked so that I should be able to do some pretty quick sewing to get it together.
I also have a couple of projects ready to load on the longarm for quilting. I'm going to do a few quick ones before I tackle another big project like Star Stuck.
Judy has her design wall up and is busy too. Check out what she and everyone else is doing this week.

Ack -- sorry about your Hokies. On the other hand, your tumblers are looking great! It's unfortunately easy to get sucked into the internet, huh? And actually feel like you're doing something productive! LOL! Perhaps the coming week will be better -- both for football and quilting projects! :)

My bet is that 10 minutes after this post your i-phone buzzed and you started twitchin'. :O)
