I'm not going to show you the ornament this week. I did make some progress but you are going to see it for so long that I'll give you a break from time to time. I've made more progress on the small embroidery. I love this project, it goes very quickly!

I'm also working on a lino carving project. This one is going to have at least 2 stamps.

Is that needlework project considered needlepoint? It looks cool - love the colors.
And your carving is intriguing. I don't quite know what lino carving is... am going to look it up.

It took me a minute to figure out that the one of the handwork photos was oriented differently than the other. You're right - this is really working up quickly!
I love the bird stamp. You've inspired me to put this back on my list of things to do. Maybe I'll use it for the next challenge quilt.

Nice pieces, Vicki. When you make a lino stamp, do you then glue it to wood or acrylic for stability? Some of mine have cracked over time without a solid base and I'm wondering what others do to avoid it.
