Comments

Ruth Lane

Lucky you! #3, screen printing

Kit

You're retiring from the coporate world? I haven't been online for six weeks and look what happens!!! Congratulations!!! I, on the other hand, just got myself back IN (now why did I do THAT?) ;)

As for winning - I would love, with all my heart, to win that red fabric. I am feeling very passionate about red these days!

And I want to learn how to couch. I know, I know - it's probably pretty basic - but it looks hard - and so amazing when done well! :)

Wanda

I would choose fabric #6. I would like to learn more about painting fabric like Mickey Lawler's. I have the paint and the PFD fabric. Somehow they haven't visited each other yet.

Diana W.

Either #8 or #7 are my picks this time. There are two things I would like to learn. One is a picture/portrait quilting so I can make the "quilt in my head" of my daughter when she was 4. Also, I want to learn to design on EQ. I have EQ5, I just never take the time to learn it.

Yvonne

I still want #1 and I would like to learn do portrait quilts.

Anya

I think I'd choose number 2 this time. I would like to learn more about dyeing techniques. Thanks for the chance!

Sandra

#1 is beautimous and handmade soap is the only soap I'll use.

Mary Anne

#6 for me (but then again, ANY of them would be lovely to own!). As for what I'd like to learn (guess I can't really say 'everything', can I?) I'll narrow it down to fabric paper. I've tried it several times and have never been happy with the results. Always looks like something that could be better done by someone in nursery school!!

Adam

#2 and I want to learn how to use picnik.com

Lori

I am loving #7. I am interested in learning to do sun-printing. Your snowflake fabric was amazing!!!

Leah S

#7... although 6 is starting to catch my eye.

At this very moment, I'd like to try making one of those clothesline wrapped-in-fabric baskets. Saw some cheap cotton clothesline online, got my head spinning. Then I went to do some dishes. :)

Karen

I like #10 and I would like to learn how to paint on fabric.

#2 is speaking to me this week. I can't believe you're giving these fabrics away -- they are all so special! For the technique, I would love to try my hand at dyeing. Thanks for the chance to win!

Marie Z Johansen

OMG! I had NO idea that this amazing life event is so close to a reality! I wish I had been more money conscious when I was in the corporate world. CONGRATULATIONS ! I am so excited for you.

If I had the good chance to win a fabric - I would choose Number 1. Bet you can;t guess why?!! You go girl!

Jody

#8--and technique would be trapunto on my longarm. (Last week's question was alot easier!!)

Audrey L.

Fabric #1. I'd love to learn shibori dyeing.

Congratulations on your retirement.

Connie Rose

Fabric #1 -- soy wax batik. Thanks!

Suzanne

#7 and I would like to learn to use paintstiks.

Gabi With An Eye

Okay Missy - I'm going to take a chance and throw my hat in the ring. I would love to win some of that number 3 fabric and of course your hand made soap. I would love to learn how to (oh hell, I don't even know what it's called) apply pieces of fabric onto a quilt so the margins are turned under and not visible - is it called appliqué? Yeah, that's it! I would love to learn how to do that. I find it exquisitely artistic.

Jackie

Yay, I am home and can now actually read posts!! I love all of them, but I am very intrigued with #2! One thing that has alway interested me is embellishment of quilts with beads and crystals. I have dabbled in it, but would really love to learn more.

elle

I'm for #6 and handmade soap. I'm also for just about everything suggested as learning is always ongoing but I really would like to learn how to use my computer and printer to do more fibre art. Some of the above I have a bit of an idea about but geeky stuff... nada!

Vicky F

Hi Vicki
I would like #1, and would like to learn flower pounding (if that is the correct term).
Thanks.
Vicky F

Karen S

I like #2, but #1 is a close second. I would like to learn to use those inks in the little bottles and the stick thingies you use with them better -- I just haven't gotten the hang of them.

Kathy

I like #7 and would like to learn how to dye gradients in earth tones.

Giggles

#6 is speaking to me a bit more this week.

And I love hand died fabric. I'd love to learn more about it.
