I saw this photo (and others that you will see later) on Angelcat's blog. She lives in the UK and has been sharing a lot of photos from a trip to Brownsea. This is one of my favorite color palettes that I've done.
I used this one on a block called Sara's Star.

Now THIS is what I'm talking about! This is THE most perfect quilt block EVAH! The colors of Angelcat's photo translated perfectly into the star design. You have GOT to make a quilt like this. Jaw-dropping gorjuss!

Usually I'm pretty good at envisioning a quilt with certain colors but in this case, the EQ quilt looks much better than I expected. I like that the new Adobe app for the iPad also has the ability to pull color schemes from a photo.
