I have always loved your baby bird pictures, but have you seen this

a live webcam of a hummingbird. I've been watching this one for awhile now.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

It really doesn't take long for them to hatch does it? I am watching some robins build a nest by my front window. I'll have to keep track how long it takes from the time they start sitting on the nest until hatching.

Kathy

this is just the best.

Dena Martin

Wow! That didn't take long, did it? We have a lot of birds in our yard that have been busy building nests. My husband is always watching to see where they build them to ensure they don't go anywhere near his antique cars. Last year he was so busy watching for the birds that he forgot all about the bats. LOL

Mary Anne

Totally awesome! It's amazing how baby birds can open their mouths so wide. Thank you Vicki.

Debbie St.Germain

How neat to see the new babies and of course they are letting you know they want to be fed.

So neat, Vicki... one of them thinks you're his mom. ;)

I'm hungry!! Feed me, feed me...

That was quick, it seems like the eggs were just laid.

Sue H

Well, I had three babies (NOT at the same time, however!). The big-mouthed baby chick? That would be my son David. When I would feed him solid foods as a baby, he could get off a scream between every bite because I wasn't shoveling it in fast enough! Thanks for the laugh and the memory...

Oh how I adore bluebirds! I love them! I wish I had some bluebird tenants like you have. Your photo of that baby bluebird with a wise open mouth is spectacular! Way to go!

Karol-Ann

feed me, feed me, was all I could think seeing that top picture! Wow, such an amazing sight!

Mags

I always love this time of year Vicky when you have your bird photos up. You look far too young to be thinking of retiring :)
Thanks for having me among your favourites!

Carole Prevost-Meier

So, did you feed big mouth? Poor thing looked so hungry. Not sure what gave it away! lol
