"Bits and pieces" are my words for the weekend because I've spent the entire weekend working on my Fiberactions challenge. The theme is Communications and I decided on the first challenge that my entire series will be done as an exploration of kaleidoscopes and symmetry.
This photo shows all of the fabrics I am using and some of the bits that will not be in the final piece. I'm doing the technique very differently this time and it took a while to figure out the best way to do it but it's all coming together now.
I still have a lot of cutting to do but I will get it done on time!
One thing I have learned on this project is that Mistyfuse is AWESOME! It even fuses slivers really well....as you will see in 15 days.

I love seeing all those bits and pieces you've cut out -- wait... I think some of that came from MY stash -- LOL -- I can't wait to see what you're doing with them. And with Mistyfuse too.... hmmmmm

Vicki, I truly enjoy visiting your blog and seeing what you're doing. You're quite creative and always full of good things!
Please consider doing a post on Mistyfuse...how to use, etc. Inquiring minds want/need to know.

It is so much fun to see all the tiny bits, and wondering what it will become. Enjoy, Vicki!

Oh, boy, more "fiddly bits" and a new kaleidoscope quilt to look forward to!
I see you made your share of "donations" at the MAQF, too. Some great vendors there!
