The December postcard challenge closes in just 2 days but you still have time to enter. Remember, you don't have to actually make the postcard, but you do have to describe it. Go to the post and check it out.
Need some motivation? Here's the prize package that Thearica won for the November challenge!
Check in January 1 for the announcement of the winner and for an announcement for how the challenge will be even better in 2010!

ooohhhh...My prize looks delicious! I cant wait for it to arrive! I have really gone crazy with crazy quilting and will most likely be using this to create a new piece just for me. So far all of my pieces have been for others.
Did you use a rubbing plate on the check fabric?
I saw your directions on making the rubbing plates and will be trying that out. Also some shave cream dyeing is in my future!

Hi Vicki, I have taught several classes on art cards, so I wanted to try some Christmas ones. This is how I decided to do it. I layered some lames of several colors on peltex, threw down some fake poinsettia flowers, sequins, ribbons, and anything glittery, and then put some red netting over it all and stitched. I was pleased with how they turned out and I have sent you a picture of these in a different post. Please enter me in your contest and HAPPY NEW YEAR
