It's going to be a few days before I have any fiber content so I hope you will allow me to post some more Biltmore photos this week.
All of the rose photos that you saw in yesterday's post were taken outside. While looking at the rose garden from afar wasn't so beautiful, there were still some beautiful things happening in the garden if you were willing to look. The other photos were taken in the Conservatory.
Today I will start sharing some of the photos that I took. All of these were taken outside on our walk from the house to the Conservatory. In the first one you will understand why our mountain range is called the Blue Ridge Mountains. The day was overcast and the mountains were showing their blue shades beautifully.
The rest of these are of the grape arbor or of tiny blossoms on the grounds. You know it's a great place for plants when the Forsythia has blooms in December! It just goes to show that there is something to see all year round.

I read this as Baltimore Photos....that aint BALMER.

Hubby has promised to take me this Christmas to see the Biltmore. He has lived within 4 hours of it his entire life and has never been. I have heard Christmas is a fantastic time to go so I am hoping he keeps his word! Your photos are awesome! Makes me hungrier to go now! Love the photo of the columns with the vines wrapped all around!

Love those twisted, gnarly vines.
I just got done visiting your sewing spaces. You have things
nicely organized. The ironing surface that you and DH made from cabinets is such a wonderful idea. You have come up with some real creative storage solutions. It's always fun seeing what others
come up with :)

You have a great eye for photographing things in such a beautiful way.
A spring or summer visit to Biltmore is on my "want-to-do" list.
