TODAY!>>
I haven't shown the stupid cat in a month because I had not worked on it since I returned from Houston. This weekend while I was feeling puny and watching football I actually made quite a bit of progress. This is the full extent of the sewing I have done in the last 6 days. Is there any better indication of how crappy I felt?
I'm going to start showing this wider image because it's the entire remaining section and I'll be working a little across the whole area from now on. Maybe I will be able to make a little more progress over the Thanksgiving break because I had a revelation in the grocery store today that I will not be able to eat stuffing or my Mom's fried apple pies. I have a much deeper appreciation for all of the wheat and gluten intolerant people in the world now. Eliminating wheat is much more draconian than dairy, eggs and soy combined! I'll just start thinking of thread as my bread!

Hee! Kitty is here! :) I'm thrilled you made it a few hours at the office today. You know I would have been there with you if I could have. (Ok. I lie!)
Are you surprised I happen to be right here when you posted this? It's cosmic! I tell ya!

Keep it up... I mean, I definitely need this reminder to get mine out and get started!! I just love your progress, fantastic. Best of luck over the holidays, I have to say that I don't envy you. I think I would find it very difficult to eliminate gluten.

That is one huge cat - he looks so happy among all the books and sewing things. You made good progress. I love your attitude about "thread as my bread." I bet you've lost weight and YOU don't need to lose an ounce!

Well I guess there's one good thing about feeling puny - that dratted cat is seeing some progress! Just think of the feeling of accomplishment you'll have once it's done.

I totally agree about not being able to eat bread - one of my favorite things to eat, that and cheese. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I don't envy your diet....glad you have such a good sense of humor. :)

Sure hope you're felling better, Vicki. Got the flu in the hospital after surgery last week. Ugh. It's everywhere. Happy Thanksgiving.
Love the cat!

What are you going to do with the cat from hell once you finally finish this piece?
