do you think you have an early fall compared to normal? We do here, normally do not have so many bare trees already at this time in October.

Oh such pretty leaves. We did end up making all the way up Skyline Drive Vicki. Have you ever done that? It was amazing. But truthfully, the Blue Ridge Parkway had better color - Skyline Drive had better vistas. It was wonderful. Posting pictures on my blog later today.

Your beautiful pictures captured all the wonderful fall colors! Great shapes and colors.
I looked back to my pictures this time last year and this autumn looks like last autumn, date to date, based on pictures of the trees around my house.

I love the autumn colors. We had several really hard freezes 2 weeks ago and froze all the leaves on the trees. So we have all brown and no lovely reds, yellows or oranges. Quite sad looking. But your photos look much better than looking out the window here.
