It was raining today so I went out on the back porch to get some photos of the wet fall leaves. I'll post the other photos later but I wanted to see how many colors I could pull out of this photo. I think if I were creating a quilt palette from this I would use the darkest green or brown, the darkest red, orange and gold. To that I'd add either the bright peach of the light pink and a couple of greens. How's this for a palette?










nice! I like the one you did for Mary best though...more vibrant which is more what I like!
But this is great for those who like colors that are less "in your face". a really pretty combination.

what a great palette this is. I really like that dark green and the green and orange that are the 3rd and 4th in from the left.

This is an autumn palette I can love--some of them are just so predictable--this one has some depth in the color range.

That is definitely a fabulous fall foliage palette. They would be terrific in quilt, especially with your hand dyed fabrics.
