Chris and I had a great visit yesterday with Summerset and her family. We are getting quite attached to this yearly visit. It was only for a day but we packed a lot into it! Ethan went to Lewis Ginterto take about a thousand photos. I got to see Summereset's Garden Path up close and personal while she worked on it. It's going to be awesome!
In one day we crammed in fishing
tie dyeing
fished some more, quilted on the longarm (I didn't get a photo of that), ate a lot and ended the day with a sunset that made the clouds look like gold.
I jsut realized that I forgot to share a photo of the cool lime green socks that Summerset made for me. I'll post them tomorrow for sure!
I love to see kids get involved in crafty stuff. Looked like lots of fun. Thanks for the visit to my blog and the comment, Elaine

Looks like lots of fun - but it's a little scary to see the dye being squeezed out while he's NOT looking at it! ;-)

Wow you sure stayed busy! the fish look cool. i bet they had a lot of fun catching the fish. it reminds me of when i was a brownie scout - i think it was 7 or 8 years old. we went on a camping trip at clearlake in california and i went 'fishing' early one morning, using just a strand of line and a small hook. i caught three tiny trout, probably three inches long each. the troop leader made me skin/scale them and gut them. yuck!!

Those are some fine looking kids & the tie dyes aren't too bad either. Glad you weren't depending on fish for dinner :)
