It was a great day today! I spent most of the day dyeing fabric. Here it all is just before going into the washing machine.
And that was just today! Let's review the week.
Here’s what I want to get done this week (the red is last week's accomplishments). I'm trying another tact and setting goals for time devoted to the project to see if that helps me focus.
-
One hour of the cat cross stitch - I did about 30 minutes, if I don't get any more migraines I should be able to do another hour on this.
-
2 hours on the log cabin - I spent about 3 hours yesterday and got another row and a half done.
-
8 hours dyeing, ironing and listing for the etsy shop - I had a long weekend this week so I probably put in about 15 ours this week.
-
no time on the College Tshirt quilt - I got everything that I could done. I am waiting on more shirts from Mary so I am not going to plan to work on this at all
-
3 hours making soap and lotion - not done yet but maybe tomorrow,
My vacation weekend continues tomorrow and Tuesday so technically I have 4 weekend days this week. I should be able to meet these goals and then some.

Wow...you have been busy! I had to go see the dogs....great idea for the dog beds! Looking forward to seeing what shows up in your shop...!!
I spent my 4th driving my teenager all over the place! [to work and back, to boyfriends and back, to fireworks and back]
I stayed home with the dogs, one of which is frightened by the noise of the fireworks.

Wow! What fun you had today. Those dog beds are great. What a great way to use up your odd bits of batting scraps. I bet the shelters love them.

Great job getting so much done! It really helps to have time away from the day job to focus on the creative stuff. I like the dog beds too. Did you use a pattern or come up with idea yourself?

making dog beds for the local rescue is such a great thing to do. I know that they really appreciate donations. 15 hours of dyeing and ironing! Good grief that's a lot!

Great Dog Beds! ...and you, check you out and all the work you're getting done. You know, I've missed the latest progress on the Cat. I didn't want to MISS THAT! Excuse me whilst I attend to that need. :) Have a great day. *karendianne.

Go Vicki Go!! I guess I need to start making a list of goals so I can finish some items. I have a pretty bad case of STMPFF(start too many projects finish few). Hope you have a great week!

Love those dog beds! I know you didn't ask for opinions (but that's not stopping me...lol), and you can take it for what it's worth (and it ain't much) but I like the Meandering Magic idea, with leaves instead of feathers. I also like that green thread in the middle. :-)
